Workstation

All furniture is vinyl, glass, or stainless steel, which makes it easy to clean and disinfect after each session.

Sterile Stuff

MadaCide is an EPA registered multipurpose hospital grade disinfectant and is effective against HIV, Hepatitis (A, B, and C), tuberculosis, MRSA, and SARS. It is fungicidal, bactericidal, and virucidal. Everything that comes in contact with the client and artist during a session is sprayed and wiped down with Madacide immediately after the session and is allowed to sit for at least ten minutes between sessions.

Tubes And Needles are both individually wrapped in pre-sterilized packages and disposed of in sharps containers after a single use. (Anywhere you get tattooed, make sure your artist unwraps the needles and tubes in front of you.) Most shops use steel tubes, which are great but require the use of an autoclave for sterilization to reuse them. The tubes I use are disposable ("Wrath" is the brand), therefore I don't need an autoclave to use clean tubes on my clients. Needles are also steel but should ALWAYS be properly disposed of after each use. NEVER get tattooed with a reused needle, even if your artist claims to have sterilized it.

Sharps Containers are specifically made to store used needles and other biohazardous/contaminated items (such as tubes) until the container can be picked up and properly disposed of by waste management.
