What to expect from an apprentice tattoo:
Getting an apprentice tattoo will be a little different than being tattooed by a seasoned artist and it’s unique from shop to shop. My mentor, Lisa, will often be shadowing sessions,I may be asking questions during the session or I may be receiving feedback in real time, this does not mean something is going wrong. We might discuss techniques, needle groupings and you, the canvas!

Apprentice tattoos are less expensive because I am less experienced and there could be a happy little accident (as the lovely Bob Ross would say.) I will be making every effort to get everything right the first time! But it is important to acknowledge this is a slightly different circumstance than an artist who has been working for years.

We will schedule a free mandatory touch-up session 3 to 4 weeks after our initial appointment. To simplify scheduling, we will make that appointment during your first session. A touch-up is not a rework, it is to make sure everything healed well, and maybe darken a line, or straighten one a little. A free touch-up needs to happen within 6 months of tattoo.

Additionally, I will be taking photos and videos and posting more than you may be accustomed to; this is to help build my portfolio of work. I do not have to identify or tag you if you do not want me to. Taking photos of both fresh and healed tattoos help me grow as an artist and is necessary if you wish to get a tattoo by me.
